Kunkle Model 228 is a cast iron liquid relief valve with bronze trim and pressure tight cap. Supplied with Handwheel. UL and FM approved for fire pump installations.

* Maximum Set Pressure 200 PSIG
* Minimum Set Pressure 60 PSIG
* Quality Cast Iron Body and Bonnet with Bronze Trim (insert and disc)
* ANSI 250# inlet flange and ANSI 125# outlet flange
* High lift, wing guided disc offers high relieving capacity.
* Pivot between disc and spring corrects misalignment and compensates for spring side thrust.
* Each Kunkle valve is tested and inspected for pressure setting and leakage
